Natural fragment – a project about imperfect beauty.
A calm, serene beauty, which a person can see with his heart in the present moment.

In the book “Wabi Sabi: Japanese Wisdom for a Perfectly Imperfect Life” by Beth Kempton I have read the phrase: "The reaction of your heart to beauty is the real Wabi Sabi." This philosophy calls us for abandoning the pursuit of perfection and teaches us to see the beauty in the imperfections and flaws that nature and life have endowed us with. Collecting dry plants, stones, snags and other natural fragments my old hobby, which eventually turned into creativity. Inspired by my collection, I create black and white, melancholic illustrations that gradually grow into history.

Any illustration can be purchased in high resolution 300dpi JPEG in formats from A5 to A0, as well as original versions on paper in A4 and A5 formats.
